Hi y’all! Today I want to talk to you about CHANGE! I look around lately and see so much change happening…kindergarten graduations, high school graduations, new babies, weddings, job changes, ect. There is so much changing in my life, it is hard to wrap my brain around it! Sometimes it seems almost too much to handle! Change pushes you and stretches you and forces you to do and accept things that aren’t always pleasant! But change can be great and comfortable and fun!
This past Saturday, my youngest child turned 21! And as exciting as that is, it is also a hard pill to swallow!
He is just a baby! Has it really been twenty-one years? Where did all that time go? Why do things have to change?
But change is a part of life! As the Bible states in Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 English Standard Version (ESV)
“3 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: 2 a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; 3 a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;7 a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace.”
Honestly, I don’t do well with change. (Unless, it is my weight going down or my gray hair getting colored!) That is why I am so blessed to have been introduced to Young Living. These oils have helped me so much in these times of change. They help support me physically and emotionally when I am feeling overwhelmed and heavy hearted!
There is stressful change, peaceful change, exciting change, happy change and some change can be scary! Y’all, let me encourage you today that as long as we trust in the Lord with all of our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, we can handle anything because God is in control!
I will say this, with all of the changes happening in my life right now, I would not want to go through them with anybody else than the people you see here! I am blessed beyond measure!
I pray you embrace all the changes in your life and that they bring you many blessings!
